West Brisbane Business Association Inc (WBBA) is a Not for Profit (NFP) organisation serving businesses in the outer western suburbs of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. We have recently merged with the Brisbane Inner West Chamber of Commerce (BIWCC). So if you were a WBBA financial member you are now an Associate member of BIWCC.

We connect the local community with businesses, including those that are home based or operate in the local area in order to:

• Promote local small business in the community
• Share knowledge & advice
• Support each other, both as individuals as well as in a business capacity
• Connect a stronger local community

Please note that we are no longer accepting new members into WBBA. We are also inviting WBBA members to join BIWCC when their membership is due for renewal (and some people will have already received an email about this). Chamber membership is $120 per year (WBBA membership was $75), but there are many more opportunities here.

The Inner West Chamber is a much stronger and more viable organisation than WBBA was, and it is affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce & Industry Qld (CCIQ). This gives us access to information and support we were not able to obtain as part of WBBA, and it is more important now.

We will still hold events each month to encourage local businesses to network and provide the opportunity to hear from a guest speaker. We will be running events in association with BIWCC moving forward. See the Events page for more details, and the next few months events will be online rather than in person.
